It is one of the two most famous, "exotic" beaches of Antipaxos. A favorite destination for those staying in Paxos, but also those who travel from Corfu and Parga! Hidden at the bottom of a small bay, and surrounded by lush, green vegetation, it is covered from the outside to the open, by fine, white sand.
This special kind of sand composition, due to the limestone soil of Paxos, "paints" the surface of the crystal sea waters of the beach, with bright turquoise and deep green colors. The waters of Vrika beach, however, apart from being exotically beautiful, are also relatively shallow, warm and sheltered - everything you need to enjoy swimming with your family, and children.
The beach is small, but you should be able to find sun loungers (with umbrellas) at the beach bar, where you can enjoy a snack, coffee or drink after your swim. For a richer and more satisfying meal, there are also taverns on the beach.
Antipaxos, like Paxos, is accessible only by sea. From Paxos, access to Vrika beach is possible from the port of Gaios, with regular itineraries.
