Lithari Villas is a family business located in Paxos, which has developed from generation to generation, managing to stand out for the quality of its service in the field of tourism hospitality.
We started our activity over 30 years ago, operating privately owned short-term villa rentals in the southern part of Paxos.
During this time we have increased the number of our properties, and now have sixteen villas for rent in four different hamlets above Gaios, the capital of the island, and nearby areas.
Our short-term rental villas, built at locations selected for their unique views, are characterized by rustic architecture on the outside and modern Mediterranean décor on the inside.

In 1991, on the completion of our first group of six villas, we decided to start our own company and so Lithari Villas was born! “Lithari” is a Greek word and refers, amongst other things, to the large millstone traditionally used in the production of olive oil. We are a family-run business and pride ourselves on the quality of the accommodation we offer and the personal service we provide to our guests.
Over the years we have gradually added to our properties, both by building new houses and by renovating existing stone residences, and are now the proud owners of sixteen villas, each with its own private swimming pool. The houses are spread over four different locations, all within 2km of Gaios and all with sea views, most of which are panoramic! The properties are characterized by rustic architecture on the outside and modern, comfortable Mediterranean décor on the inside.
Over the past 30 years we have partnered very successfully with various UK travel companies (Simpson Travel, James Villas, Ionian & Aegean Holidays, etc.) to rent our properties. Now, with our daughters wanting to get involved in the business, we made the decision that we would take the plunge, build a website and work directly with our clients! So, for this year, we are featuring seven of our villas on the site. Six of the villas are high on the hillside above Gaios with panoramic sea views and the seventh (Eleni’s House), also with sea views, is in the deserted hamlet of Geromonachos.
